We are a small family business with a big passion: cultivating high quality callas. With the utmost care and drive we grow a large variety of callas in different sizes. Callas come in many different colours, have a trendy look and can easily be kept for a long time. All those things make it a stylish and flexible flower that can be used in a wide range of original creations.
Bart Van der Geest runs his floricultural company together with his wife Karen Wera. Their family company is situated in Schiplaken, near Mechelen. Bart inherited his interest in floriculture from his grandfather, who founded the business in 1938. Karen and Bart have passionately been growing Calla flowers since 1998.
The calla is a continuously evolving flower as new colour varieties can endlessly be discovered. We closely follow these evolutions. The colours and characteristics of the flower can vary slightly depending on the season, the temperature and the light intensity during its growth.
